Tesco

For Tesco in the UK, Pivot shows daily sales and stock for every store, plus wastage, ranging, Tesco’s forecasts and orders, and your service level. Ireland has its own page, Tesco ROI.

  • Sales: units and revenue, by store and product, for each day.
  • Store stock: units on hand at each store at the end of each day.
  • Availability: how much demand each store met, for Availability % and Lost Sales on Store Performance.
  • Wastage: £ only, split into Reduced to Clear, Out of Code and Damaged, by store and day.
  • Ranging: which stores range each product, by week.
  • Forecasts and orders: Tesco’s depot forecast in cases, and its orders and deliveries by product.
  • Service level: what Tesco wanted, ordered and received.
  • Sales, stock and wastage: a day usually appears two days later, so Monday’s figures are in by Wednesday morning, and a full week by Tuesday. Now and then it’s a day later.
  • Corrections: when Tesco corrects a day, it’s usually about a week later. Pivot picks up corrections for about six weeks, so recent weeks can change a little.
  • Ranging: updated on Tuesdays, so it runs behind sales and stock.
  • Forecasts and orders: a new view each morning.
  • Service level: updated on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Sales and stock: We load as much history as Tesco lets us when your brand joins Pivot, and keep every day from then on.
  • Wastage: from July 2024, with a permanent gap from 24 November to 20 December 2024.
  • Availability and Lost Sales: from the week of 29 June 2026.
  • Service level: from 5 January 2026.
  • Forecasts and orders: the last 30 days only.

Tesco only lets days be fetched again for about six weeks. A gap older than that can’t be filled.

  • Weeks run Monday to Sunday. Service Level numbers them Tesco’s way, with the year starting the Monday after the last Saturday in February.
  • Forecasts are in cases, sales in units.
  • Lost Sales skips a store’s week with no stock and no sales, as it could be a delisting.
