WFL Sales

EPOS shows what shoppers bought. WFL Sales shows what WFL sold in.

If WFL distributes your brand, WFL Sales shows what WFL has invoiced to its customers for your products, and the orders it still has to ship. It sits in Pivot alongside your retailer EPOS data, so you can see both sides of the shelf.

  • Sales are the lines on WFL’s own invoices to its customers. WFL uploads them every week, so a week fills in once its upload is in.
  • Open orders come from WFL’s order book: orders a customer has placed that WFL hasn’t shipped and invoiced yet. Each time WFL uploads its open orders, Pivot keeps a snapshot.
  • Data Last Updated, at the top of each page, shows when the latest upload finished.

Figures are in the currency WFL invoiced in: pounds, euros or US dollars. Pivot never converts one into another.

WFL Sales is sell-in. EPOS is sell-out. They answer different questions, so they never match.

Stock ships before it sells. A big delivery into a retailer’s depots shows in WFL Sales weeks before shoppers buy it, so a strong week here can be a quiet week in EPOS, and the other way round. Compare the two over months, not single weeks.

Click WFL Sales in the bar at the top of Pivot, next to EPOS. The menu down the side changes to the WFL Sales pages.
